R4 is the Kodak practice management software developed by Practice Works and the one used to handle all patient details and carry out many of the tasks needed to run the practice.

Head dental nurse: is responsible for training and for the work standards of the other dental nurses. S/he is responsible for the stock and reports to the practice manager.

Practice manager: each practice has a designated manager responsible for overall management who reports to the principal dentist.

Principal dentist: every practice has a principal (head) dentist who has overall responsibility for the practice and who reports to the director of dental services.

Quick reference manual: contains the fee guide, lab list, internal referral list and other day-to-day information.

The practice centre manual – contains most of the concepts, systems and details of the day to day management of the practice.

To accommodate our patients as comprehensively as possible we have arranged three fee scales. This is our offer:

Friends and Family

A discounted fee scale with 10-50% saving on the standard rate.

Standard

Our regular fee scale, which is reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Superior

An exceptional standard of service using World Class laboratories, for the discerning patient. Fees are calculated at a multiple of 3 times the laboratory bill. Superior standard can only be offered if a full explanation is given to the patient of the reason for the cost.

Note:

Our work is guaranteed for three years.

All disciplines are available through Advance Dental Services including orthodontics, minor oral surgery and implants, with referrals where necessary.

Insurance Dental Cover: peace of mind and easy payments (TBA).

Easy payment terms, including credit cards and five months interest free credit (TBA).

All the dentists share our commitment to continuing professional development, strict attention to cross infection control and health and safety legislation and guidelines, and the development of a team approach.

Painless comfortable dentistry carried out with minimum intervention and aesthetic results in mind.

The fee for our initial consultation is 19 pounds sterling including all necessary x-rays.

1.6 USPs

In order to offer an attractive service to our patients, it is necessary for them to clearly see the benefits of registering with us. The company has a number of very positive, individual traits that are particularly attractive to patients. These are known as unique selling points (USPs). It is important that we make our patients aware of these attributes. Our USPs are; the nervous patient scheme, the text reminder and the offer of appointments at short notice/convenient times.
